Purpose-built systems currently in development — designed to solve real problems, not chase trends.
The Future page is where we share systems currently in development — not to hype unfinished ideas, but to give early visibility into where modern carry is headed.
Welcome to the New Standard.
SPLIT™ Series | Status: In Development
-
-
Core Problem
Most magazine carriers still rely on outdated retention methods that wear out, shift, and require constant tuning.
SPLIT exists to eliminate that entire category of problems.
-
Design Philosophy
The SPLIT™ Series is a new approach to magazine retention built around controlled elasticity, consistent draw pressure, and modular adaptability. From feedback we've received on the AMC, we've built the SPLIT for semi-universal fitment of similar-sized mags (Glock, P320, M&P 2.0, PDP, etc.).
-
Key Concepts
- Shock-cord based retention with controlled tension
- Assisted indexing for fast, repeatable draws
- Reduced friction without sacrificing security
- Modular architecture adaptable across platforms
- Large amount of canting options on a Tek Lok or similar
- Quick-Swipe Kit as a secondary level of retention
- Shock-cord based retention with controlled tension
WRAITH IWB Holster | Status: In Development
-
Core Problems
Virtually all Kydex holsters still use antiquated passive retention systems - utilizing subpar rubber washers for retention that quickly degrade and built in such a way to not allow the Kydex material to fully flex when a firearm is inserted.
-
Design Philosophy
The WRAITH holsters will be the first in passive retention holsters that evolve past rubber washers with a far superior proprietary retention system.
The WRAITH will be light bearing only (may change in the future) and be semi-universal in fitment - meaning one make of gun, but built in a way to better accommodate close third party alternatives (think Shadow Systems and Ruger RXMs are to Glocks).
-
Key Concepts
- Modular wedge system
- Semi-universal fitment
- Smart contouring to minimize fitment and increase concealment and comfort
- Camming bar to reduce printing superior to ModWings
- Dual DCC belt clips
- Proprietary retention inserts
- Compatible with Dark Matter Concepts CMDs
RAID OWB Holster | Status: Conceptual - Near Development
-
Core Problems:
Similar to Kydex IWB holsters, passive retention OWB holsters rely on subpar rubber washers for retention and improperly designed for friction fitment. There needs to be a bridge in capability in the large gap between standard Kydex OWB range-style holsters and level 2-3 active retention holsters.
-
Design Philosophy
The RAID will mirror the WRAITH in many ways for retention but tailored to OWB carry in range and tactical use. The RAID will offer an optional secondary retention system for those who need the added security. As an OWB product, all RAIDs will be fabric wrapped standard.
-
Key Concepts
- Semi-universal fitment
- Proprietary retention inserts
- Optional secondary retention
- Between a level 1 passive retention and level 2 active retention holster
- Compatibility with majority of popular belt attachments on the market: Safariland, Blade-Tech, Guardian Warrior Solutions, True North Concepts, etc.
- Compatible with Dark Matter Concepts CMDs
Modular Sidecar System (Name Pending) | Status: TBD
-
Problems
Although there is a rise in Tegris and CURV sidecar platforms from several holster companies, most only accommodate a spare pistol magazine. This modular sidecar system will have provisions of mounting both a spare mag and a tertiary space for mounting a tourniquet, handheld light, extra mag, or potentially fixed blade knife sheathe.
-
Design Philosophy
All-day comfort will be key so we need to design a footprint that will work with most body types and prevent hotspots. Various hole and slot patterns to accommodate a canted spare mag and either a TQ, mag, or handheld light in addition to the spare mag carrier space. Made in CURV.
-
Key Concepts
- Comfortable footprint
- CURV material
- Spare mag + 1 extra space for 2nd mag, TQ, or handheld light
